Description
The cool breeze ruffling your hair and clothing is what wakes you up, tired and stumbling to get your bearings again. Your surroundings are unfamiliar to you, and yet holds a sense of strange memorium, as though you’ve been here before and just can’t quite recall.
Stepping out from under cover, the path looks worn and broken, overgrown with flowering weeds and other such foliage. A small garden, with an intermittent path leading to a loosely-tethered wooden bridge, swaying treacherously in the light wind. You walk over it, hearing the aged worn wood creak underfoot, but despite its unsteady appearance, it holds as well as if it were new and anchored.The towers come into view once you have your balance and stride forward with a newfound confidence, your hand touches the warm stone on passing. Bits and pieces are filtering back now, the hanging lanterns in the upper garden, the wizard’s tower nestled in the back with its time-worn books full of stories and magic. You had left this behind so long ago, the memory of it faded and left only foggy itches at the back of your mind, naggings that would occasionally leave you wondering what it was that you’d forgotten to begin with.
A sense of wonderment fills you at the sight of it again, your own little haven, followed by a twinge of curiosity. Can you remember all its little secrets?

The third installment to my free minimaps, and to my inherent need to tribute Spyro.
I took inspiration on this one from the DreamWeavers’ worlds of the very first games; I always loved their subtle pastels and obvious dream-like quality. There was just something about them; their world was the first world in that game I completed.
I didn’t use a texture pack on this one, because none of my regular ones have updated yet; come the 1.9 release, I expect to see some updates! Thankfully, it looks just as good on the default as it did with the texpack I was using.
I’m taking suggestions on favorite worlds from Year of the Dragon for the next one!
